Don't be fooled by other manufactures who claim their products last longer than our popular StaTite50 fixed knot fence. Finally, there's a fence that really lasts for 50 years. If you're like most people, you want to erect your fence and forget about it. With StaTite50's "Advanced Coating Technology", you can. That's because it will last twice as long as our competitor's heaviest class 3 coating and that adds up to 50 years with peace of mind. The Advanced Coating Technology is Bezinal, a superior Zn and Al coating. Bezinal has proven to be solution for any corrosive environ- ment or where extra long life is desired. Remember, there's only one StaTite50 "The 50 Year Fence". Accept no sound alike or substitute for its long lasting durability.

The solid vertical stay line wires are locked together with a rugged "fixed knot" for unsurpassed durability. The high tensile steel wire gives you maximum strength with reduced sagging and elongation. With StaTite50 you can expect easier installation, greater post spacing (fewer post) and less maintenance which all adds up to a great value. All StaTite50 products exceed ASTM standards. StaTite50 is distributed exclusively by San Antonio Steel Company and is proud to be the Title Sponor of the San Antonio International Farm and Ranch Show October 14-16, 2010

L.C. "Chaz Neely" and SASCO The Force Behind the Fencing by Ashlee Kinsel
For over 30 years "Chaz" Neely has not only been stretching the countryside with quality fencing, but also increasing opportunity for agriculturally involved youth. Neely has made goodwill a priority in his personal and business life through generous support to expand youth scholarships for rurally based families. As a leader in the agricultural industry, Neely exhibits charitable professionalism personally and commercially. Even his employees participate by dedicating their personal time to various charitable organizations.
Born and raised in San Antonio on the Southside, Neely set his sights on owning his own business at an early age. It was always a question of 'when' more so than 'how' as his father had grounded him with the principles of hard work plus honest and determination as the keys to sucess. In 1979 "Chaz" Neely's dream of owning his own business came true when he purchased San Antonio Steel Company, a fourteen year old wholesale dis- tribution company that focused mainly on nails and wire. The begining years were a struggle as Neely balanced working a full-time job as well as running his own companyon his after hours. His perserverance paid off and eventually he was able to leave his managerial job and focus on his dream. Even though the first decade was pitted with econamic challenges by 1991 the company had grown tremendously under the consistent care of Neely and his dedicated employees. Three of Neely's first employees are still with him toaday Dayle Rihn, Gary Kothmann, and Gary R. Craig. As a leader in the fencing industry, SASCO is know not only for their superior steel products from construction to fencing; but also for their commitment to the growth of agricultural communities. Founded upon the basic principles fo a person to person approach from the top down, SASCO gives priority to the traditional handshake and the promise that it carries. Owner Neely believes in maintaining a presence as well as taking care of their customers, and their goodwill doesn't stop there. It is easy to be impressed by the gross figures in sales, but it is a privilege to go behind the scenes and witness the quite ways SASCO continually honors rural communities. SASCO makes it a point to extend their generosity to many youth scholarship opportunitites. As much as this company has grown over the years so has their heart for supporting youth education. Over the past several years they have been one of the San Antonio Jr. Livestock Show's top 10 buyers at the auction. Also SASCO sponsors many of the rodeo events such as the cutting horse event, barrel racing, Ranch Rodeo, and others. In addition several of the SASCO employees are members of various S.A.L.E committees. Their main focus is to pour back into the community through scolarships and expanding the public's focus of rural life through either financialsupport or personal time. At the 2009 1st Annual San Antonio International Farm & Ranch show, SASCO partnered with the TDA to sponsor the speakers addressing various ways to enhance rural communities. They are proff that giving back to the community only strengthens the whole from business to individuals. SASCO is purposeful in not being shy to step out and show up, supporting future youth and keeping the rural work force current and informed. Neely and staff relize it isn't about the immediate gain, but the building long term relationships face to face that brings sucess and prosperity to an entire region. SASCO watched over the years as their game fencing business grew and became their highest grossing market. Wanting to get more involved and more exposure in the deer business, Gary R. Craig, who was a District Manager, Sales Manager and now the Marketing Manager for SASCO, joined theTDA several years ago and a lonstanding friendship formed. Craig, as he known by hiscomrades, makes it a point to be present at many of the significant TDA events such as the San Antonio Livestock and Rodeo Superior Genetics Deer Auction as well as the annual convention held in August. This past yearalone Craig commented they had sold over 1,000 miles of game fence through their retailers. Their high slaes are indicative of the impact the deer business has had on the state and the top quality product they provide. This past year when TDA offered area businesses a chance to partner with them as a coporate sponsor, San Antonio Steel Company was the first to get on board. Eager to expand their advertising and promote their new fencing, StaTite50 "The 50 Year Fencing", signing on with TDA was a natural fit. TDA's large exposure to the top deer operations around the state and beyond made the invitation most appealing to the SASCO group. In turn, their high quality business attracts other major corporate players to the TDA scene and broadens the association's influence in the business circle."They are the kind of elbows we like to rub," states Karl Kinsel, executive director for TDA. "Most impressive is the quality of company and the people that make up SASCO. Quality sponsors make for quality business." On a national scale SASCO is an avid supporter of the NRA. Front and center on their website itis easy to notice their preferences when it comes to bearing arms. Famous quotes from historical legends to modern day proponents flank the sides of their biographical page such as, "Those who trade liberty for security have neither," stated by the legendary John Adams. Because of their strong beliefs and support of civil liberties, this year during the annual convention SASCO will provide free memberships to the NRA with every new TDA memberships purchased.Being in the forefront, like SASCO, advances the leaders from the pack by stepping beyond self interest to create opportunity for others. Their company is a fair representation of many like-minded businesses that work with the TDA. As the first corporate sponsor, it is a privilege to high-light their accomplishments and be a part of theirgrowth. TDA depends on partnerships such as theirs and many others to remain a prominentforce in corporate circles.
