During the ICA 35th Annual Convention & Trade
Show in June, SASCO Marketing Manager Gary
R. Craig was presented the Agri-Business Award
by State ICA President H.A. “Peanut” Gilfillian.
The award was given for SASCO's participation
in the“Operation New Fences,” a program created
to help rebuild miles of fences that were destroyed
by Hurricane Ike. SASCO provided fencing material
at a reduced price so the Texas AgriLife Extension
Service could provide vouchers to nearly
100 ranchers.
