Cattle Fencing
SASCO carries many different
types of cattle fence. We have
various configurations in the
fixed knot, hinge joint, and
square deal field fences.
Traditionally, cattle fence has
been built out of 5 strands of
barbed wire, but ask us how
you can build a 9-strand, high
tensile, class 3 fixed knot fence
for about the same price.
What You Will Need
At SASCO, we always recommend
galvanized T-Post but we also carry
green and orange post. If you are
using galvanized post, you should
use class 3 clips, otherwise standard
clips will work. Always use class 3
hook staples for best results and
double-wrap 12 ½ ga. Class 3 high
tensile wire for the braces. Many
cattleman run one or two strands
of barb wire on top of the fence to
keep the livestock from riding
down the wire.
